HISTORY

Where we come from

Bünte has been active since 1990. Founded at that time as a wholesaler for passenger car trailer technology, the company under the leadership of its founder Helmut Bünte developed into one of the leading suppliers of trailer and caravan components in Germany until 2017.

In 2023/2024, the company fell into a precarious situation after the new management had attempted to grow rapidly in a rapidly changing market environment. The result was insolvency.

Under the self-managed protective shield, BÜNTE was successfully renovated in just under nine months. The business model was adapted to the new market conditions and the first marketplace of the car trailer industry in Germany was created: www.trailer.one.
